Originally from Smoky Lake, Alberta, Fay grew up in a large family. The youngest of five siblings, she has cared for many 4-legged family members including a dog, a couple of cats, a horse and LOTS of hamsters.
She attended Lakeland College, graduating from the Animal Health Technology (AHT) course in 1993. From there, she moved to Calgary and worked for a few years at the McEwan Veterinary Clinic before joining us here at the Midlake Veterinary Clinic in 2000. With a soft spot for more “unfortunate” animals, she has shared her home with a few rescue cats over and “Seamus” an energetic dog adopted from the City of Calgary’s Animal Services department. The newest addition to her family is Hazel, a senior cat adopted in 2012.
In her spare time, Fay enjoys playing slow pitch, golfing, practicing karate and jogging with “Seamus”.
